CASTING PROCESS

Vacuum Casting Process
The Vacuum Casting Process (also called "V-Process") is commonly used for producing counterweight with a weight between 200kg to 15 Tons.
This process is mainly used for Grey Iron GG15 (EN-GJL-150), GG20 (EN-GJL-200) and GG25 (EN-GJL-250)

Lost Wax Casting Process
The Lost Wax Casting process (Also called "precision casting" or "Investment Casting") is mainly used for parts requiring tight tolerance dimension.
This way of casting is suitable for parts between 0,5kg to 200kg. It is mainly used for Carbon steel and Stainless steel.

Green Sand Casting Process
Probably the most common casting process, the Green Sand Casting process is suitable for almost all dimensions, weight and material.
From Grey Iron to Stainless steel through Ductile Iron and Carbon Steel the Green Sand Casting is a good choice for many type of parts.

Lost Foam Casting Process
The Lost Foam Casting process is a good solution to get parts with tight tolerance made with Grey Iron or Ductile Iron.
However the shape possibilities are more limited with this process compare to other's.

Water Glass Casting
For undercarriage parts such as sprocket wheel and front idler, the Water Glass Casting process is the common choice.
